Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall hailed his team's resilience after they narrowly lost 1-0 to Chelsea in the Women's Super League on Sunday.

The Gunners were looking to close the gap on their rivals at the top of the table, but they were undone by a stunning strike from Guro Reiten in the second half.

Despite the defeat, Eidevall was pleased with his team's performance and believes they can take heart from their display.

Chelsea took the lead in the 55th minute when Reiten curled a stunning effort into the top corner from the edge of the area.

Arsenal pressed for an equalizer, but they were unable to break down a resolute Chelsea defense.

"We created some good chances, but we just couldn't find the back of the net," said Eidevall. "But I'm confident that we will bounce back from this and continue to challenge for the title."

Arsenal remain in second place in the table, one point behind Chelsea. They will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup on Sunday.
